We enjoyed the rustic charm of the lodge while visiting the Eastmans, who have such deep roots in the area. The setting, especially loved by our baby, thanks to the spacious layout and the nearby hiking trails.
My wife says that a more kid-friendly play area would be ideal.

The house features a spacious shared kitchen, well equipped for cooking. A highlight was indulging in freshly made pizza while enjoying the fine mountain views from the terrace. The lack of a true kid-friendly play area was a minor drawback, and the short stay felt too rushed to fully relax. Although the ambiance was cozy, more evening entertainment options would have enhanced the experience.
